About Teskey Baldwin

Teskey Baldwin is a cannabis researcher and breeder currently completing his thesis on cannabis biodiversity and the science of extraction at the University of Guelph. His passion for cannabis and conservation stems from a love of travel and traditional cannabis cultivation combined with a background in legacy commercial cannabis production, which is reflected in his research focus of landrace and heirloom cultivar preservation and hybridization. Teskey can be found conducting research at the Jones Myco-Phytological lab at the University of Guelph working on projects ranging from tissue culture optimization, landrace and heirloom cultivar preservation and genetic analysis, investigating polyploid cannabis for extract production, and pushing the limits of cultivating and breeding long flowering cannabis varieties.
