Who are our members

Health Canada’s licenced cannabis farmers who share common industry challenges, yet tackle them in isolation.

FCF membership brings these cannabis farmers together. FCF's members are cultivation managers, head growers, owner-operators, and upper management farming roles at a Health Canada licenced Standard, Micro, or Nursery farm. Our members farm cannabis.

Whether you manage a 10,000 sq ft indoor facility or 400 acres of sun-grown flower, NFCF gives you a seat at a national table where insight is shared, research priorities are set, and collective strategy is cultivated amongst a like-minded community of producers.

Regions

We serve 5 regions of producers and associations

FCF organizes each farming member into a membership region. These regions balance farm licence population density and serve as ridings for the producer-led board of director's election. During board elections, members of each region can run for a seat and vote only within their own region, guaranteeing fair representation. This structure ensures every farmer of each province has equal representation in board decisions, elections, and research priorities.

Challenge

Cannabis farmers spend monthly on plant tissue analysis to steer crops, but results take time and methods vary. New sensor tools promise faster insight, yet farmers lack proof they match lab benchmarks, fit farm workflow, and align with The Cannabis Act.

Solution

NFCF and partners run farmer-led trials of Senseen’s Nutriscope, comparing leaf scans with lab tissue results. The project builds a common method, training, and data system so farmers use quick feedback to adjust their crop steering and lower testing spend.
