Farmer-led research trials proposed by FCF members, approved by NFCF, delivering public domain data and farmer-ready reports that support the future of cannabis farming.

Cannabis farming advances faster when licensed producers lead the questions and the testing. Farmer-Led Research Trials are member-led research and development projects built to serve FCF farm members and the future of cannabis farming. Each project aligns with organizational values and the collaboration mandate, with clear benefits tied back to farm operations and decision-making.
Project ideas start with FCF members. Trials move forward only after review and approval by both the Officers and Directors of the corporation. This process keeps projects focused, credible, and connected to the needs of licensed farms and industry professionals.
Each trial concludes with outputs built for broad use. Results end in public domain data and farmer-ready reports that support better planning, stronger operations, and shared industry knowledge.
FCF Community Membership provides producers access to NFCF Member Services, the Online Cannabis Farming Community, and eligibility to enrol in programs like the Cannabis Agriculture Leadership Program (CALP).
Online access activates after the membership application is processed and reviewed by the Board of Directors. Automated onboarding then grants entry to the online community. Application processing takes 1-2 weeks.
The Cannabis Ag Leadership Program (CALP) is for FCF Community Members in upper management production roles at Health Canada licenced facilities, with one candidate per licence accepted each year.
Academic Research Projects link colleges, universities, and research groups with FCF and Trusted Labs Partners to produce evidence-based research and farmer-ready reports that supports both the industry and the consumers.
Verified Buyers standardizes B2B sales through a 0% commission broker platform with standardized listings, advanced search tools, and a transparent buyer report card system for reputability visibility.

Buyers receive a 0% to 100% authorized rating from producer feedback surveys. Scores appear on an in-app leaderboard. If a buyer's score drops below 50%, a review will be held. Low scores are grounds to revoke membership.
Unifying FCF organizations and NFCF-approved associations strengthens national representation across provinces and supports commodity board alignment for CFA engagement and broader agricultural opportunities.
